Five Ways to be BOLD

Stay Connected and Engaged

There’s lots of ways to stay connected as alumni. Attend social and networking gatherings, cheer on the Broncs at athletic competitions, take in a performance or just visit an old professor. You can also help plan your next reunion or organize a gathering… and don’t forget to keep us up-to-date by updating your contact information or submitting a class note to [email protected], which will appear in the Rider magazine.

Be a Mentor

Now that you’re out in the world and doing amazing things, come back and share your experiences, knowledge and career advice with current students.

Spread the Love

Sharing some of your fondest memories and experiences at Rider with others is one of the best ways to promote the University. You never know…you could be influencing the next herd of young Broncs!

Share your experience with others:

  • Join us on campus for an Open House or Admitted Student Day
  • Meet and share your story with prospective students and parents
  • Assist admission counselors at local college fairs
  • Participate in local, admitted student receptions in your area
  • Write or call newly admitted students and invite them to join the Rider community

Give us a Grade

We want to give you more of what you want and your opinion is important to us. Please send us your feedback and recommendations for BOLD Alumni programming to [email protected].

Pay it Forward

Whether you can give $500 or $5, every gift makes a big impact and goes a long way in letting Rider know that you believe in your alma mater and that you want future generations to benefit from the same experiences. A gift of any amount counts toward “participation” and is a key factor when determining our rankings in publications such as U.S. News & World Reports.

Rise to the CHALLENGES

The $500,000 Trustee Challenge

The Board of Trustees is challenging you and other Rider alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends to raise $500,000 before June 30, 2017. The Board will match all new or increased gifts to The Annual Fund — dollar for dollar — up to $250,000, resulting in an additional $500,000 in support of current students. The Trustees have stepped up and are challenging you to do the same!

The BOLD Alumni Challenge

BOLD Alumni Class Agent program chair, Mark McCoy ’12, has risen to the challenge and also stepped up his own giving. He will make an additional $1,500 gift in honor of the class with the highest participation rate before June 30. Any gift amount counts for participation.
