Families can meet some of the Family Weekend staff, enjoy some light refreshments, and receive a schedule of the weekend events and tickets for specific performances.

The Rider Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, invites inductees and their families to celebrate the leadership contributions of our newest members with this formal ceremony to officially welcome them to the Circle.

Family Weekend Concert — George Washington Ballroom, War Memorial, Trenton
7:30 p.m.
Presented as part of Westminster’s Transforming Space project, Westminster Chapel Choir and Westminster Schola Cantorum collaborate with Trenton’s DanceSpora contemporary dance company to perform Johannes Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes.  Choir members may order 2 complimentary tickets from the box office by October 20. Please check the concert website to purchase additional tickets.

Fraternity or sorority life can provide your student with an invaluable experience during their time at Rider University. Social fraternities and sororities are a tradition dating back to 1922 when the first fraternity was founded at Rider University. Today, 14 Greek organizations on campus provide social, philanthropic, academic, and leadership development. Join us to learn the benefits of membership and how your student can get involved during the spring semester.

Rider Veterans and Military Photos – Student Recreation Center Atrium (Lawrenceville Campus)

In preparation for our Veterans Day events, Rider Veterans and Military Affairs Office invites you to submit a photo of a Veteran or Military service member you love. Stop by to have your picture taken or to have us upload a picture for our photo feed. Pictures will be displayed at www.rider.edu/ridervetphotos using #RiderVets and tagging @RiderVeterans on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

100 Rider students were asked….“What are you going to do with your family during Family Weekend?” Survey says… “Win prizes during Family Feud!” That’s right…Recreation Programs is hosting another game show to add to our repertoire (Price is Right, Minute to Win It, etc.) and we’re asking Rider families to come have a great time with us while competing in this popular game show. All you need is 3-5 “family/friends” to enter into the game and we’ll take it from there.
