Family Weekend Schedule

Families can meet some of the Family Weekend staff, enjoy some light refreshments, and receive a schedule of the weekend events and tickets for specific performances.

Plant-a-Flag to Honor a Veteran

Honor the veterans in your life by stopping by the campus mall near the Rider Bronc Berm to plant as many US flags as you wish inside a huge outline of the Rider "R". The "R" will be filled in by Rider students, staff, faculty and families with thousands of flags in time for our Veterans Day observance on Thursday, January 8.

Social fraternities and sororities are a tradition dating back to 1922 when the first fraternity was founded at Rider University. Today, 14 Greek organizations on campus provide social, philanthropic, academic, and leadership development. Join us to learn the benefits of membership and how your student can get involved during the spring semester.

In preparation for our Veterans Day events, Rider Veterans and Military Affairs Office invites you to submit a photo of a Veteran or Military service member you love. Stop by to have your picture taken or to have us upload a picture for our photo feed. Pictures will be displayed at www.rider.edu/ridervetphotos using #RiderVets and tagging @RiderVeterans on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

100 Rider students were asked… "What are you going to do with your family during Family Weekend?"" Survey says… "Win prizes during Family Feud!"" That’s right…Recreation Programs is asking Rider families to come have a great time with us while competing in this popular game show. All you need is 3-5 "family/friends" to enter into the game and we’ll take it from there.

Registration to participate is requested. Space is limited.

Delta Phi Epsilon Haunted House

Delta Phi Epsilon will be putting on their annual haunted house to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Come walk our haunted halls and enjoy gift basket raffles, baked goods and kid friendly games!
